Former ICANN executive Kurt Pritz has assumed the role of interim Executive Director for the Domain Name Association, a newly formed non-profit business association that represents the interests of the domain name industry. Kurt will be working with and representing DNA during the ICANN-48 meetings in Buenos Aires. He played a key role in the growth of ICANN and is best known as the architect of ICANN’s new gTLD program.
Prior to joining ICANN, Kurt spent nearly a decade at Walt Disney Imagineering where, as Vice President, Engineering & Production, he was responsible for the technical design and delivery of theme park shows and rides worldwide. Kurt also served Eaton Corporation as Plant Manager, advancing the state-of-the-art in automated electronics and avionics manufacturing.
During the ICANN meeting he will be participate in the DNA informational session to be held in Buenos Aires on November 20 from 3 to 5 pm at the Alvear ART Hotel, Suipacha 1036. Read more
