FBI Unveils New Program To Teach Cyber Security To Kids

A free web-based program aimed at educating children about cyber safety through games, videos, and other interactive features has been unveiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Dubbed the FBI-SOS (Safe Online Surfing) Internet Challenge, the site features six grade-specific virtual islands for students from third-grade through eighth-grade. Each virtual island has specific cyber safety lesson, covering topics about the protection of personal information, password strength, cell phone safety, social networking and online gaming safety.
